Virginia Republicans continue to introduce bills that will turn back time on legislation in the commonwealth and roll back our progress. Sen. Louise Lucas and the Brick Wall Caucus are hard at work in the Senate as they continue to protect Virginia from Glenn Youngkin and his far-right allies, but they’ve got their work cut out for them.

Radical conservatives in the Senate continue to put bills forward that would be harmful for Virginians. This past week Amanda Chase introduced a bill that would restrict reproductive freedom and ban abortions after 20 weeks.

Our Brick Wall Caucus has successfully stopped right-wing radicals in the Senate from passing bills that would allow Virginians to be prescribed ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19 and discriminatory voter ID laws among other bills being pushed as part of Glenn Youngkin’s conservative agenda. And, they’ll continue to be successful in protecting Virginia’s progress — but they need our help.
