Friend,

From droughts to hurricanes, forest fires to flooding, two-thirds of the United States experienced an extreme weather event in 2021. These extreme weather events have devastating consequences – I've seen that firsthand from the damage wrought by Hurricane Ida, right here in PA-06.

And I know this is an issue that matters to many on this team. Of the people who filled out our latest survey, 82% said combating climate change is one of their top priorities for the months ahead.

I'm here to say: I'm with you. I agree. As an engineer, you can count on me to continue to be a scientific leader in Congress and work tirelessly to preserve our planet. To me, this isn't a niche issue. Combating climate change means protecting the lives and livelihoods of working families all across the country – and in order to do so, we'll need all hands on deck.

I'm looking for just 63 more passionate members of our team to join me in taking a stand for climate action before midnight – and I'm counting on you, friend, to be one of them:

Will you sign the petition to demand bold action to preserve our environment and combat climate change? Every voice that speaks out brings us closer to the solutions that will protect our planet's future for the sake of our children and grandchildren.

Friend, combating climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time. As a scientist and public servant, I know we have what it takes to beat this – and come out stronger than ever before. Please, sign the petition to raise your voice, too.

There is work to be done,
