President Biden celebrated his first year in office last week, but frontline communities in the Appalachians still face threats to their water, land and lives from the incomplete, 303-mile-long fracked gas Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP). Despite broken promises by the administration on environmental justice and climate action and a long history of fossil fuel destruction in the region, nothing will stop these communities from fighting for their homes and the planet. This is the year we will stop the Mountain Valley Pipeline for good. Call President Biden at 1-855-572-9495 and ask him to deny a key water permit for MVP! Mountain Valley Pipeline is steamrolling its way through Virginia and West Virginia. The Clean Water Act Section 404 permit filed to the Army Corps of Engineers is currently under review. Since this is a federal permit, the Biden administration has the authority to deny it and stop the project in its tracks.
