Folks,

I’m not trying to alarm you, but Senate Republicans’ campaign arm just announced that they raised a record-breaking $104.8 million in 2021. Instead of focusing on helping the American people, Mitch McConnell and the GOP are raising huge sums of money from wealthy donors and corporations to flip the Senate and totally obstruct President Biden’s agenda.

Both you and I know that they are willing to do — and spend — whatever it takes to win, and McConnell only needs to flip one seat to take control of the Senate.

With their campaign coffers loaded and getting bigger by the day, we need to respond and defend Democrats’ successes to the voters and protect our majority. But I don’t rely on donors who can write giant checks — a lot of what we raise comes from emails just like this, from supporters just like you.

So, I’m personally asking: will you pitch in to my campaign today to help me protect our Senate majority in 2022? It’s going to take a lot of people chipping in what they can for us to succeed this year. [[link removed]]

We have so much to do, and Minnesotans and folks across the country are depending on our majority to deliver results.

I’m fighting hard to pass legislation that makes child care more affordable, addresses climate change, and protects voting and abortion rights, but I have to contend with GOP fundraising in helping my Senate colleagues across the map. I know this grassroots team has what it takes to do it, just like we did in 2020.

I’m grateful I can count on the support of people just like you to help me defend our majority.
