[1]Women's March
John, it's past
time we finally enact the Equal Rights Amendment.
We cannot ensure democracy for all until all genders are protected under
the Constitution.
The Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) is a proposed amendment to the U.S.
Constitution that would guarantee equal rights for all American citizens,
regardless of sex. In January 2020, the ERA was on track to become the
28th amendment but was then stymied by Trump administration – who were
ready to stop at nothing to restrict equal rights for women.
Now we must call on the Biden administration and Attorney General Merrick
Garland to advance this critical win for democracy. [ [link removed] ]If you’re with us,

equal protections for all genders.

John, the
passage of the ERA is one of the most impactful things we can do to move
towards our collective vision and build power for a feminist future.
Ratification of the ERA would confirm once and for all, that equal rights
under law is a core value in our Constitution. It would finally provide an
explicit guarantee of protection against discrimination on the basis of
sex, and it would end the patchwork of protections that currently exist at
the federal, state, and local levels. The ratification of the ERA will
impact each and every woman in America.
It has been nearly 100 years since the Equal Rights Amendment was
introduced to Congress. We’ve waited long enough – [ [link removed] ]we are calling on
Attorney General Merrick Garland to correct this error and let history be
made. Sign the petition now.
Forward together,
Women’s March
