During my remarks, I said I’m running for president because I want to help America look in the mirror. To recognize underlying causes of so many symptoms that plague us. To lay it down and do the radical truth telling from which will emerge a new chapter of our history.
The audience’s reaction to my talk proved to me what I already knew: that there’s a groundswell of support for someone who is saying certain things that need to be said and engaging a more expanded political conversation.
