Hi John, it’s Stan here, Valerie’s husband.

Did you know that my wife and I met when we were just kids? It wasn’t long after I met Valerie at Chapel Hill High School that we started dating. After forty-four years of marriage, we are still happily together.

I’ve seen Valerie do amazing things in her life. I’ve seen the compassion she brings as a mother and grandmother to our two sons and grandson. I’ve seen the determination she has as she worked multiple jobs to pay for her education (at UNC-Chapel Hill!). And I’ve seen the commitment to every role she’s held as a public servant. She tirelessly fights to make her community a better place, and that is one of the many reasons I am so proud to be her husband.

Valerie is not done working to support others, though. Now, she’s running for Congress. I want to ensure Valerie has the support necessary to win this race, so I’m asking for your help today.
