Elections are run at the local level, and I'm reaching out to you on National Poll Worker Recruitment Day to encourage you to get involved by signing up ([link removed]) to become a poll worker.

Each year millions of our friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues sign up to volunteer as poll workers (and many jurisdictions offer pay!).

Poll workers are the unsung heroes of our electoral system — they’re responsible for guiding voters through the process of voting and relaying the necessary information to make our elections accessible and secure.

Your elections office has an ongoing need for these essential volunteers, so if you’re able to dedicate a day to help our democracy run, visit the Election Assistance Commission’s website ([link removed]) or your local election office’s website for more details.
