Our servicemembers carry a gun to fight for our country overseas. Madison Cawthorn does it as a political stunt. It’s outrageous and disrespectful — and one of the reasons VoteVets is taking him on.

Don’t forget, this is the same man who lied about getting into the Naval Academy. He uses white supremacist symbols in his campaign ads and has been accused of sexually harassing several women.

And he has suggested there could be “bloodshed” over future elections and continues to push the Big Lie that Trump won in 2020. That kind of rhetoric combined with his glamorizing guns is extremely dangerous.

We can’t afford to let this man stay in Congress - the risk to our country and democracy is simply too great.
