Recently, Governor Chris Sununu of New Hampshire decided not to run for Senate. Now that’s not really news but the reason why he decided not to run is.

A recent article confirmed that Sununu decided not to run because “virtually every GOP senator he chatted with [confirmed] that they plan to do little more with the majority they are fighting to win this November than obstruct President Joe Biden until, “hopefully,” 2024 ushers a Republican into the White House.”

This sadly says all you need to know about the GOP playbook. They aren’t focused on COVID relief, they couldn't care less about our crumbling infrastructure, and they have no plans to support Americans through one of the worst public health crisis in decades.

Instead, they would rather sit on their hands and do nothing for two years (or more!) while they wait for a Republican president.

Every day, Democrats are fighting for our families whether it's through the increased Child Tax Credit in the American Rescue Plan or through the monumental investment made in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
