GOP mega-donors pour money into Trump campaign   POLITICO

John: During his 2016 presidential bid, Trump often blasted wealthy GOP donors, and they denounced Trump in return.

Now they’re changing their tunes and joining forces for 2020.

Trump and the RNC brought in $108 million during the second quarter of the year, and it was made possible by super-rich donors cutting six-figure checks.

Trump and Washington Republicans have every intention of using their war chest to fund a national strategy that includes field deployment and voter registration efforts in targeted swing states and even expands their efforts into states that traditionally vote for Democrats.

If it works, it could crush our hopes of holding the House and taking back the White House.

They’re not slowing down either. Trump is set to woo major donors at a fundraising event TOMORROW at HIS New Jersey golf course.
