Team — Last week, news broke that ex-president Donald Trump’s team attempted to seat fake electors in seven swing states (including Michigan) in an effort to overturn the 2020 election.

Michigan Republican Party Co-Chair Meshawn Maddock was recorded saying the Trump presidential campaign directed the MIGOP to seat fake delegates in an attempt to award Michigan’s 16 Electoral College votes to Trump, who lost the state by more than 154,000 votes.

Republicans are terrified they can’t win elections fair and square, so now they are trying every avenue of cheating to overturn election results they don’t like.

This is a serious threat to our democracy and Michigan Republicans are working to make it happen.

We need to come together this year to make sure Michigan Republicans are held accountable at the ballot box. We also need to overcome voter suppression tactics and turn out Democrats in record-breaking numbers that are so high, the MIGOP won’t be able to dispute them.
