California Students: SAT Test Discriminates Against Low-Income and Minority
Students

Minority students in California are threatening to sue the University of
California system over its requirement that students submit an SAT score as
part of the admissions process.

According to a report by the San Francisco Chronicle, a group of minority
students is suing the University of California system over its refusal to
cut the SAT as a requirement for admission. The University of California
system has 10 campuses in cities around the state including Berkeley, San
Francisco, Santa Cruz, and Los Angeles.

The students claim that the SAT discriminates against low-income and
minority students that do not have the resources that others have to
prepare for the test. One Los Angeles high school student said that his
affluent peers paid as much as $2,000 per month to receive private SAT
tutoring.

Lawyers from several law firms have signed onto a letter threatening to sue
the University of California system if they do not drop the SAT requirement
for all of its schools. The letter calls the SAT and ACT exams the
“descendants of discriminatory IQ tests.”
As the State’s foremost public institution of higher education, the
University of California must, and should, furnish all students equal
opportunity to access its benefits. Its continued use of the SAT and
ACT—descendants of discriminatory IQ tests that pose unlawful barriers to
underrepresented students—is fundamentally at odds with its obligation to
provide access to all qualified students. As Governor Newsom correctly
stated earlier this month, the use of the SAT and ACT “exacerbates the
inequities for underrepresented students, given that performance on these
tests is highly correlated with Regents of the University of California and
is not the best predictor for college success.” In fact, the results are
meaningless, all the more so because of disparities in access to expensive
test prep services.

Breitbart News reported earlier this year that actress Felicity Huffman had
paid $15,000 to have her daughter’s SAT exam results doctored prior to
submission. Huffman served 11 days of a 14-day prison sentence in October
for her role in the scam.

NOTICE: Facebook And Google Indexing Your Firearm Serial Numbers

Google and Facebook have now made it possible to find photos of firearms by
simply typing a serial number into the search box. Earlier today, the
automotive website Jalopnik published a story showing how license plate
numbers are evidently scanned using optical character recognition (OCR) on
Google images, allowing them to be searchable using text queries. Using the
OCR hypothesis, TFB wondered if this image data mining technique might be
able to be used to search for firearm serial numbers. Using images posted
previously on TFB with serial numbers displayed on firearms, we tested the
serial number search technique. As you can see from the results below,
firearm serial numbers are in fact part of this apparent large-scale data
mining operation by companies like Google and Facebook.

It appears Google, with the help of Facebook, is archiving this information
and making it easier to aggregate. In order to further test this theory, I
tried a different serial number, this time from a silencer review. Placing
the search term in quotes, Google is forced to search for only that
specific character string. Here are the results.

If you’re an avid TFB reader, you might have read our article about how
we’re not concerned about posting firearms serial numbers. However, this
does not mean that we should be complacent in the information that we share
being controlled or censored.

It’s clear that the firearms community is not being singled out by this
data mining operation. And no, you as an individual cannot readily lookup
someone’s personal information with only firearm serial numbers.
Regardless of this, Instagram is owned by Facebook, and YouTube is owned by
Google. As both of these companies are privately owned, but heavily relied
upon, the knowledge of this publicly available data mine is unsettling.

Earlier this year, our Instagram account was deleted with seemingly no
explanation. TFB has been able to restore the account, but a clear
explanation was never provided as to why it was deleted.



This serial number was obscured when it was loaded in to TFB for the story.

The disastrous California fires of 2018 and 2019 are reflexively blamed on
Pacific Gas Electric, the state’s largest utility. As a public utility,
the heavily-regulated PGE has become a convenient scapegoat for the
profound failings of California’s elected officials in Sacramento.

Uncontrollable fires in California are a natural phenomenon. There have
always been fires, but they were usually contained and rarely became a
danger to homes or entire communities.

Obviously, something changed: It was the radicalism and idiocy of the
powerful “environmentalist” movement and their absurd demands. No doubt
about it, the extensive nature of these recent fires is due to California
environmental legislation and regulations promoted by the wacko
environmentalist lobby.

Prior to 1990, county fire departments across California routinely cut
fire-breaks every few miles through heavily forested areas. These were a
safeguard that effectively permitted fires driven by the Santa Ana winds to
be contained and usually made manageable.

In 1992, however, self-styled environmentalists discovered the Kangaroo
Rat, which they declared an endangered species. They then claimed that
fire-breaks interfered with the natural habitat of these supposedly
“endangered” rats. This resulted in regulatory and legislative initiatives
that prohibited county fire departments from cutting fire-breaks.

Then in 2016 these same idiots enacted laws (California Forest Practice
Regulations, Title 14, California Code of Regulations,) that prevented
anyone from removing dead trees from forested areas. By enacting these
laws, they created a statewide tinderbox.

The disastrous fires that have destroyed much of California in 2018 and
2019 are the handiwork of wacko environmentalists and their gutless
enablers in the state legislature. This “unholy alliance” has protected
neither man, nor beast, nor woodlands, nor property, and they have helped
destroy hundreds of millions of trees.

So, President Trump is correct: Leftist “environmentalists” have helped
destroy hundreds of human beings, an estimated 200 million trees and the
flora and fauna those trees once sheltered, including the Kangaroo Rat,
itself.

Once again, the hapless left has visited profound damage on the very
objects of its misplaced compassion.

Ignore Dominant Media Narratives

During the Obama Regime, its allies in the Jews’ Media abandoned all
pretense of objectivity or fairness, and frequently fabricated a “dominant
media narrative” to drown out other voices and obscure the truth. This was
necessary to prevent the electorate from learning damaging facts
surrounding the many scandalous activities that plagued Obama’s
demonstrably corrupt and treasonous regime.

Among these scandals were: Obama’s phony birth certificate and lack of
Constitutional eligibility; The “Fast Furious” gun-running scheme
concocted by Obama, Eric Holder and Janet Napolitano, that resulted in the
death of an American DEA Agent; The sacking of our Benghazi Consulate, in
which our Ambassador and three others were killed; Hillary Clinton’s
illegal and private e-mail server; IRS denial of tax-exempt status to Tea
Party and other conservative groups; And Hillary Clinton’s sale of her
office to wealthy and powerful foreign donors.

In each instance, the effectiveness of the dominant media narrative allowed
the guilty to deflect accusations of wrongdoing onto their accusers, who
then became the target of vilification and fake news stories by the Jews’
Media and other leftists. Those who demanded further investigation and more
transparency were denounced as “conspiracy theorists,” or attacked as
disloyal for attempting to exploit these situations for partisan political
purposes.

The Jews’ Media’s efforts were often used to salvage Obama Administration
appointees and other “Democrat” office-holders who ran afoul of the law,
even as it simultaneously targeted and libeled all conservatives, most
Republicans, all Christians, and every white nationalist. Clearly, this
tactic has been successful, since no Obama Administration official has ever
been brought to justice, much less investigated, even years later.

The most recent scandal to require the services of the Jews’ Media has been
the events surrounding President Trump’s July 25th phone call to
congratulate newly-elected Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. In his
call, President Trump urged Zelensky – an avowed reformer – to continue to
pursue the Ukraine’s investigation into the role Zelensky’s predecessors
may have played in interfering with the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election.

During that call, Zelensky broached the subject of former Vice President
Joe Biden’s shady dealings with his Ukrainian predecessors. He was
referencing the fact that Biden’s son Hunter was paid $83,000 per month to
serve on the Board of a nefarious natural gas company named Burisma
Holdings, although Hunter Biden had no experience in the energy industry,
had been expelled from the military for cocaine use, and couldn’t find the
Ukraine on a map.

Zelensky may also have been referring to the infamous 2016 statement by
then-Vice President Joe Biden – preserved on videotape – in which Biden
crowed to a room full of globalists at the Council on Foreign Relations
that he succeeded in getting Ukrainian Prosecutor-General Victor Shokin
fired by threatening to withhold U.S. aid until that happened. In Biden’s
own words from that videotape:

“I said, ‘You’re not getting the billion.’ I’m going to be leaving here in,
I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in
six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money…’
Well, son of a bitch, he got fired. And they put in place someone who was
solid at the time.”

Ukrainian Prosecutor-General Shokin was conducting an investigation into
Burisma Holdings and its role in the theft of $1.8 Billion in U.S. aid to
its war-ravaged economy. Victor Shokin told John Solomon of The Hill that
he had “specific plans” to investigate Burisma Holdings, one that
encompassed “all members of the Executive Board, including Hunter Biden.”

The telling reaction of the Jews’ Media and House “Democrats” has been to
scrupulously ignore all evidence involving the Bidens. Instead, they have
fixated exclusively on the hearsay and inaccurate claims of a suspect
“whistleblower” who alleged that Trump extorted President Zelensky. Taking
its cue from the phony whistle-blower’s” claims, the Jews’ Media
mis-characterized President Trump’s conversation as a threat to withhold
aid from the Ukraine unless Zelensky acceded to Trump’s demand for a
continued investigation.

The Jews’ Media and its co-conspirators among House Democrats immediately
began a full-court-press demanding the Impeachment of Trump for attempting
to extort Zelensky. Yet, they never anticipated that President Trump would
de-classify the phone call and make an unredacted transcript available to
the media. When he did so, it did not include even a hint of the extortion
that the Corrupt Leftist Media and House “Democrats” had falsely and
shamelessly alleged.

While the Jews’ Media and House “Democrats” should have been chagrined when
their lies were exposed, instead, they’ve continued to blunder onward and
“double-down” on their shameless and partisan pursuit of Impeachment.
Staying very much in character, they ignored two statements by President
Zelensky, himself, that no such extortion took place.

It also transpires that the so-called “whistleblower” not only falsified
the form he used to initiate his complaint, his knowledge of the matter was
entirely hearsay, and he also worked for former Vice President Joe Biden
and remains his supporter and a registered “Democrat” to this day.
Moreover, the entire Jews’ Media and “Democrat” cabal appears too stupid
and too dishonest to recognize that publication of the unredacted
transcript of the phone call rendered any claims by “whistle-blowers” moot
and irrelevant, although they still continue to surface.

The lesson that real Americans should take from this tawdry ordeal is that
NO dominant media narratives of the Jews’ Media should EVER be taken at
face value. Instead, it is wise to retain a skepticism borne of long
experience – and never rush to judgement because as long as Donald Trump
is President, the truth will eventually emerge and create a stark contrast
to the fake news concocted by the Jews’ Media and their ”Democrat”
co-conspirators in Congress.
