Dear John,

Thank you! With generous gifts from folks like you and a matching gift from our partners at the Biophilia Foundation, we exceeded our fundraising goal last year! Your ongoing commitment to North America's wildlife and wild places is something we celebrate today and every day.

We’ve already hit the ground running in 2022, engaging on an exciting development in New Mexico and collaborating to bring new hope and road crossings for wildlife in the U.S. and beyond.

And there’s so much more in the works. I’m delighted to share with you some of the foremost plans Wildlands Network has in the works for this year. Check out our top five below!

For the wild,

In Mexico, we're taking an innovative approach to safeguard the unique biodiversity of Natural Protected Areas for posterity.

We're convening stakeholders and Rightsholders from Indigenous groups, the U.S. and Canada to develop a shared plan for stewardship in the Northern Appalachian-Acadian ecoregion.

We're assisting and holding accountable the Biden administration to
effectively
implement a vision of nationwide landscape conservation.
Through on-the-ground research and new policy, we're ensuring California's native wildlife can safely traverse their historic ranges.
We're elevating the rollout of the U.S.’s wildlife crossings pilot grant
program while demystifying the process for potential applicants.
