John, last week the FBI raided Rep. Henry Cuellar's home and campaign office.
Then a federal grand jury probe issued subpoenas and sought after records from Cuellar and his family to find out if they provided any "work, act, favor, or service" at the behest of foreign companies, government officials, or business leaders.
But despite the controversy, Cuellar is continuing his re-election campaign like business as usual. He launched a new TV ad buy, with $500k donated from his corporate donors to help him do it. This just goes to show how reliant Henry Cuellar is on his corporate donors and will stop at nothing to stay in Congress, despite the amount of trouble he’s in.
South Texans shouldn’t have to wonder whether their representative is looking out for their interests or his own. But with early voting starting in just 21 days, we must do all we can to get voters to reconsider supporting Cuellar. Henry Cuellar has halted progress for South Texas in Congress for too long. For the last 16 years, Cuellar has worked against popular policies, supported by many in our community. Here’s a quick recap of his voting record:
- He voted against the Woman’s Health and Protection Act — a bill that would codify Roe v. Wade and make it federal law

He voted against the PRO Act — a bill that would protect the right to organize so corporations can’t get away with exploiting and abusing workers
- He voted against reform that would make healthcare more accessible

Our district has had enough of Henry Cuellar refusing to do what’s right for everyday Americans. And they’re more than ready for a new representative.
