[1]Women's March
John, we don’t
say this lightly: The future of abortion access in our country is under
grave threat.
From our far-right Supreme Court allowing Texas’ 6-week abortion ban to
continue, to the record number of local abortion care restrictions that
have been passed in the past year — we are currently witnessing the worst
attacks on reproductive rights in our lifetimes.
We know this is an issue that directly impacts Women’s Marchers like
you, John, so we
want to hear directly from you how these attacks have affected access to
abortion care in Washington.
Your answers will help guide Women’s March as we plan out our strategy to
fight back against the GOP's barrage of attacks on our reproductive health
and to pass solutions like the Women’s Health Protection Act. [ [link removed] ]Will you
take five minutes right now to participate in our Abortion Access Survey
and share any experiences you’ve had in Washington regarding
reproductive care?

SB 8 — Texas’ abortion ban that the Supreme Court recently approved — bans
abortions as early as six weeks and puts the power of enforcement in
anyone’s hands. Most people don’t even know they’re pregnant that early on
and Texans are already experiencing the devastating impact of this cruel
ban.
To make matters even worse, SB 8 is just one example of the hundreds of
laws being passed around the country in an attempt to ban abortions and
limit our access to reproductive freedom.
Let’s make this clear: This has been Trump and the GOP’s plan all along.
This is why they stacked the Supreme Court with ultra-conservative
justices like Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett. This is why Mitch
McConnell confirmed a record number of anti-abortion judges to courts
across the country.
They have a coordinated strategy to dismantle abortion rights and we must
fight back together as a movement to stop their cruel, anti-women plans.
[ [link removed] ]That’s why we're hoping to hear from you about the challenges in
accessing abortion access in Washington and what feminists are doing
on the ground to fight back. We'll review each response and use your
feedback to inform Women's March's strategy to protect our reproductive
rights at the local, state, and federal levels.
Thank you for taking action to defend our rights,
Women's March
