My grandpa crossed the Rio Grande, proudly fought for America in WWII, and then settled in Nevada to build a family. This is the document he received when he became a U.S. citizen:

So as the first Latina senator in America’s 245-year history, I’m not about to let Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump replace me with a dangerous, far-right extremist.

Unfortunately, back-to-back polls show me down, and GOP attack ads are flooding Nevada’s airwaves to defeat me and put McConnell back in charge. I’m humbly asking you to split $5 between me and Gary Peters before it’s too late.

With the Senate split 50-50, Mitch McConnell only needs to flip one seat to retake control, and I’m his top target:

FIRST: Mitch McConnell’s allies poured over $4 million into vicious attack ads to defeat me. 

THEN: The Cook Political Report officially downgraded my chances of winning to toss-up, and CNN called me one of the most vulnerable senators up for re-election.

NOW: New polling shows me losing by 3 points, and as of 5 p.m., I’m falling dangerously short of my emergency fundraising goal.
