Yesterday, we got some exciting news - DC for Democracy announced their endorsement of our campaign! DC for Democracy fights tirelessly to make our city more just and to stand up for all of our residents. I am excited for their partnership in this movement as we work to create a DC that works for all of us.

I wanted to share with you the message DC for Democracy sent out to their members yesterday because I think it does such a good job explaining why this race is so important:

“Our overwhelming endorsement of Robert White is truly historic. Over the past 18 years, DC for Democracy has never endorsed a Mayoral candidate. The pandemic has made us newly aware of the powers of the Mayor to address -- or fail to address -- the historic and worsening inequities in our community. This endorsement is a sign of our members’ hunger for a different kind of Mayor, one that places human needs and social justice over monied interests. Robert represents the shift in values and priorities that DC families desperately need.”
