Last week marked the one year anniversary of President Biden taking
office, and Katie’s been talking about how far our economy has come since
then—and the work we still have to do. 

First, the good news:

That’s thanks to the American Rescue Plan, which helped families recover
from the economic hardships caused by the pandemic. But even with the
fastest growing economy we’ve had in decades, there are still structural
problems. If we do not pass legislation to address these issues, we will
continue wasting trillions of taxpayer dollars each year.

Katie was proud to be a leader in the House’s passage of the Build Back
Better Act, which would save taxpayer money by:

All of this legislation is held up in the Senate, blocked by Republicans
and Joe Manchin.
