I wanna let you in on some behind the scenes plans for our campaign and let you know our strategy to mobilize a record number of voters in all 120 counties and turn Kentucky blue next year.

Ever since Charles ran for U.S. Senate last year, his motto has been ‘From the hood, to the holler.’
Meaning if we want to transform the future of Kentucky: We need to come together — from all walks of life, different backgrounds, representing communities across the Commonwealth — to create a winning movement.
For too long, there’s been this myth that Kentucky will forever be a red state. But the truth is it’s a disenfranchised state. It’s a commonwealth where a whole lot of people haven’t felt heard in a long time, and where the number of people who don’t vote outnumber those who do. Republicans know this — so their plan is to continue dividing us, distracting us from the common priorities we share, and discouraging us from voting.
We plan on ending that cycle. That means we need to start investing ASAP in:
- Building a grassroots network of organizers
- Training volunteer coordinators
- Purchasing voter outreach tools
- Printing voter registration informational materials
- Setting up a fund to pay for gas for our teams as they travel across Kentucky
- And so much more
