Service cuts, service additions: this new proposal needs your input In November 2020, Port Authority made 20 major changes to service to account for COVID's shifting ridership. They were considered temporary, but more than a year later, they're still in place. 5 of the 20 changes increased service on high-ridership routes. 15 of the 20 changes cut service. Many of these cut routes disproportionately burden low-income and minority riders. If you have been affected by any of the changes brought on by the pandemic, whether on these 20 routes or systemwide, you need to share your experience.
