| Friends, Governor Ned Lamont repeatedly fails the good people of Connecticut. Over the holidays, Connecticut was in crisis over where to find COVID tests so they could safely spend time with their family and loved ones. But, Ned Lamont failed to deliver. Connecticut never received thousands of at-home COVID test kits that Ned Lamont promised. Why not? Because he never had a contract to buy them in the first place. He even called up the National Guard to assist in distributing the nonexistent tests. And guess where King Ned was during all of this? He was vacationing in Florida! Test-kit gate is just another one of Ned Lamont’s failures. He’s ruling as if he’s the King of Connecticut, and we – the subjects – are his political pawns. What does it matter if he gambles with our freedoms and continues to let us down? He can just run off to Florida, where he can experience Ron DeSantis’ freedom. Maybe he can learn a thing or two down there. It’s time to end King Ned’s reign once and for all.
