John, I’m appalled.
My Republican opponent, Congressman Don Bacon, proves time and time again that he is out of touch with issues that everyday people truly care about.
-- He voted AGAINST cutting taxes for working families.
-- He voted AGAINST Covid relief and lowering the cost of prescription drugs.
-- He OPPOSED measures that would make critical investments in public servants, like teachers.
Hear me loud and clear: We deserve a leader who works for the people -- not against us.
While Don Bacon was in Washington playing politics and voting against working families, I was here in Nebraska making real change:
-- I voted FOR emergency aid.
-- I brought a bill that secured over $6 MILLION in funding for public health.
-- I raised private funds to distribute to families in need.
I promise you this: I will work hard every day to win this race so everyday people can have the leader they deserve representing them in Washington. But in order to DEFEAT Bacon and OUTRAISE his $977,000 war chest, I’m going to need all the support I can get. I need 382 gifts before midnight to keep my campaign running, WIN this historic race, and send Bacon packing for good. Will you chip in $10 before midnight? But unfortunately it’s going to take a lot of money to compete.
