Since Thursday, we’ve raised $24,965 for Jessica Cisneros’ campaign to
defeat Henry Cuellar. Here’s why that’s important:

Cuellar’s house and campaign office were raided by the FBI last week, and
that could be a turning point in our campaign to defeat Cuellar.

On Friday, Cuellar accepted an award from an extreme anti-abortion group
that opposes Roe v. Wade. Even among corporate-backed Democrats, Cuellar
is an extreme outlier.

And in-person early voting starts in just 3 weeks. We brought in the haul
for Jessica from 908 donations at an average of just $27. At Justice
Democrats we’re fueling not just Jessica’s rapidly approaching primary,
we’re fueling 5 other insurgent progressive primaries AND working hard to
protect Justice Democrats like Marie Newman and Rashida Tlaib facing
competitive primaries.

margin for error is so small in our primaries. We’re running races against
corporate Democrats taking huge sums of campaign cash from Wall Street,
Big Pharma, and fossil fuel executives. We don’t take a cent from
corporate PACs. That means we really need your help to do our work.

there from the very beginning to help build campaigns. And we remain right
there with the campaigns doing everything we can to strategize and
organize with our progressive candidates. That’s what we’re doing down the
stretch with Jessica in Texas and it’s what we need to do for the rest of
our 2022 primaries.
