Dear John,
Our movement is really starting to hit its stride and break ground into the enormous universe of voters we need to contact in order to win. We have folks showing up from all over the district AND the country who believe in what we're fighting for. Our movement consists of teachers, students, disability activists, doctors, nurses, public health experts, sex workers, lawyers, prison abolitionists, community organizers, climate activists, veterans, and so many more.
I am humbled by the diverse group of people our platform is speaking to and activating.
Our work is far from over. We had our first barnstorm this weekend, which is an organizing tool that was handed down to us from Bernie Sanders 2016 presidential campaign.
When we hold barnstorms we turn to the progressive community across Philadelphia and the nation. We aspire to find or train volunteer organizers to, in a modest but vital way, take the reins and lead others through volunteer events.

In the words of a fellow PA-03 constituent, we're not running against just an opponent, we're running against an "institution" - a machine. A machine that protects itself from accountability, that protects its own complacency, and does everything in its power to protect the status quo. We're running to tear it down, but we're going to need everyone's help.
