The redistricting process in Ohio has been a disgrace. Republicans on the GOP-led redistricting commission are determined to play by their own rules in order to advance their purely partisan interests, ignoring Ohio voters, an Ohio Supreme Court ruling, and the Ohio Constitution in the process.

The maps released over the weekend directly contradict what the Ohio Supreme Court ordered: fair maps that reflect the voting preferences of Ohioans. These new maps are just another Republican ploy to gerrymander their way into a majority for another decade.

I'm pissed off, pardon my French. But I'm turning that anger into action.

The Ohio Democratic Party will continue fighting against these unfair maps for as long as it takes the commission to produce maps that are indicative of our state. But we need your help to make sure we have the resources to keep the fight going.
