Friend,

I have an urgent update about one of the most important Congressional races in the country. Recently, Michigan's redistricting commission released new districts, and my friend Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin is now seeking re-election in the 7th District, a mid-Michigan seat that includes two-thirds of the population of her current district.

Elissa's district may have changed, but here's what hasn't:

Her race is a pure toss-up, and it's a must-win if Democrats are going to keep our majority in the U.S. House.

Will you split a contribution between her campaign and mine today so we can keep Elissa fighting for us and defend our Democratic majority?

So just how close is Elissa's new district?

In 2020, President Biden won by a single point. Four years earlier, Donald Trump won by three.

In a district this close and in a race that could determine control of Congress, you better believe national Republicans are ready to go all-in to defeat Elissa.

Friend, that means we have to go all-in too. Will you split a donation between Elissa and me so we can defend our Democratic majority in the U.S. House of Representatives?

Elissa has spent the last four years fighting for Michigan and working families on everything from lowering the cost of prescription drugs to protecting our environment.

She's had our backs -- thank you in advance for joining me in having her back today.

With gratitude,

Debbie
