If you have attended one of our meetings in the last several months, chances are you got to hear Mark Middleton speak. He tells the story of how he and his wife were violently arrested for attending the January 6th protest at the capitol. Later on, in April, the FBI conducted a full SWAT assault on the couple and arrested them on 8 charges each. His crime? Praying. That is what they were doing when the police pepper-sprayed them and took them into custody. Standing in a circle with other believers, backs turned to the police, praying over our capitol.
Please consider donating to Mark and Jalise Middleton to help cover the thousands of dollars in legal fees they are now having to pay. These fees could potentially amount to $100,000, and they are unable to work in their professions now, due to defamation. If we all pitch in a little, we can help them reach their goal of $35,000.
