John,
Today, our top-notch legal team is heading back to court to re-argue one of our landmark lawsuits, Brach v. Newsom.
You may remember this case....
But if not, let me catch you up.
California Governor Gavin Newsom issued an executive order that required roughly 80% of all schools in California, including public, private, and religious schools, to deny students in-person learning.
No Governor has the power to shut down in person learning at private and religious schools.
But that didn’t stop Governor Newsom from putting his full weight behind this totalitarian mandate.
So, we took him to court, and WON!
Unfortunately, radical leftists are not interested in taking NO for an answer.
So Governor Newsom requested an en banc hearing from the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals...
Newsom’s request was granted and, unfortunately, our victory was vacated...
… And as a result, we have to argue this case all over again.
Thankfully, Robert Dunn, one of the phenomenal constitutional lawyers in the Center for American Liberty’s attorney network, will be arguing before the court today.
Rob is an indispensable member of our team and this case is in good hands.
But I’m emailing you today to ask if you’d be willing to send Rob a quick note of support: John, your support is truly indispensable, and all the members of our team are so grateful for your encouragement.
We’ve won this case once.
And thanks to you, we’ll do it again.
Sincerely, Please consider supporting our efforts to defend our Constitution with a donation today.
