Two updates: Omicron/Boosters and Saturday's campaign kickoff.

As we continue to work to get past the peak of the Omicron spike, I want to remind you that test positivity rates are still well above 20% (we want them below 5%) and hospitalizations are still elevated, even if they are coming down. We must be careful to use masks and continue to practice social distancing and wash our hands to accelerate the end of Omicron. Also, this article on boosters from the Washington Post provides clear evidence of why we must get boosted and make sure everyone we know does so too.

Second, I ask you to RSVP and join us for a special event--Our Virtual Re-Election Campaign Kickoff. The event will be Saturday, January 29th from 3 to 4 pm. We currently have a limit of 100 on zoom and we are getting closer to that limit, so please email my Campaign Manager Mark Teel at [email protected] to reserve your space as soon as possible. (We can increase it if need be, but first want a better hard count of who will join.)
