Allow me to introduce myself!

Hi Friend,

My name is Deja Wargo-Cole and I'm thrilled to introduce myself as your new Southern Nevada Organizer at Battle Born Progress! As a native Las Vegan, I am so proud to call Nevada home. I take pride in knowing that our community has cultivated a movement that has transformed the lives of Nevadans across our great state. I'm committed to working tirelessly to protect the abundantly diverse and expansive culture that we have created here!

The stakes of the 2020 presidential election are higher than ever, and it is up to us to empower, engage, and mobilize Nevada voters to continue to build upon the progress that we have fostered in our communities. I know I'm ready, and I know you are too! So let’s get to work. 

As one of my first big projects, I'm organizing our 6th annual Progressive Summit in Las Vegas, coming January 25-26, 2020! Happening about a month away from the February caucus, this year's Progressive Summit will bring together activists, students, and leaders to prepare for this critical year in our state and our nation's history.

Keep your eyes peeled for updates and a tentative agenda coming soon! In the meantime, I look forward to getting to know all of you and working together to build progressive power in my hometown of Las Vegas!
