Dear John,
I wanted to make sure you saw Erin’s message she sent on the Roe v. Wade anniversary over the weekend.
Thanks for your support,

John,
Today marks the 49th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision and the constitutionally protected right to abortion. Be sober-eyed and clear: The 50th anniversary – if there even is one – will be much different.
Give now to fund aggressive work to increase access to abortion.
While abortion remains legal in all 50 states, we are seeing the death by a thousand cuts to the Roe decision that affirmed the federal constitutional right to abortion. Sadly, for many people, especially people of color, low-income people, and people living in conservative and/or rural areas, Roe fell a long time ago. Many have not been able to access abortion care due to money, distance, time-based bans, and other barriers.
We are committed to sharing information about self-managed abortion with pills, a vital option for those who cannot access clinic-based care or those who wish to manage their own abortion in the comfort and privacy of their homes.
While we always stand with Roe, we also recognize that it was never enough. The time is now to start talking about abortion access and not just legality. This is especially important as a hostile, stacked Supreme Court is expected to effectively end it, allowing more unconstitutional bans and aggressive challenges.
All people deserve to control their own reproductive lives.
Sincerely,
Erin Matson
