At mass yesterday the priest brought up Roe v. Wade which caused some in the congregation to actually listen to the sermon. Usually, the homily stays in the safe confines of long ago scripture. The theme was that all life is valued equally by God and that includes the unborn so you can't kill them.  Good message, nothing new.
