I really don’t know anybody who thinks new parents don’t need a break! Look, kids are expensive, the new parents are worn thin, and there are a LOT of diapers.

HB85 simply makes diapers ineligible for sales tax (like we do for many staple food items currently).

Every study I’ve ever seen backs up common sense here. The most bang for our buck in terms of investing in our people comes as early in life as possible. Making diapers more affordable will help reduce childhood hunger, increase health, and result in a lifetime of better opportunities.

This is common-sense legislation that directly eases the burden of everyday expenses and helps set our kids up for success from the start.

And you can help me make it a reality! Visit AndrewLearned.com/action to help push this, and other great bills, across the finish line.
