Friend -- defeating my colleague Doug Jones would be Mitch McConnell's dream.

Since his stunning win in Alabama's special election in 2017, Doug has been a force in the Senate for protecting healthcare, equality, and election security.

But Mitch McConnell desperately wants to beat him -- because he knows that without Doug Jones, our chances of winning the Senate are slim.

So he dredged up a ghost from the past: Jeff Sessions, Trump's former Attorney General, just announced he is running against Doug next year. His presence could turn this race upside down.
