As we have said since the beginning, the truth will come out.

Today’s Times Union presents the strongest evidence yet that the Attorney General’s office ignored and tried to bury key evidence that would have contradicted the findings of their sham report against Governor Cuomo.

In fact, the reporting concludes that “other records that were not publicly released by the attorney general's office — and information that was redacted from many of the transcripts — reveals that the attorney general's investigators apparently did not follow up on leads that may have called into question some of the sworn testimony that formed the basis of their conclusion.”

Specifically:

– Clear instances of witness intimidation, witness tampering and outright blackmail by one of the ‘accusers’ went unchecked and unchallenged.

– Testimony and facts that were counter to Tish James’ findings were disregarded and never explored by her ‘independent’ investigators.

– Shifting accounts about times, dates, and important details of some of the most serious accusations (which have since been thrown out of court) was papered over and never explored.

With every passing day there is more and more evidence that prosecutorial misconduct was committed, and that James’ office was corrupted to further her own political ambitions.

Plain and simple: A fraud was committed on the public.
