I wanted to let you know that I have cosponsored the Ban Conflicted Trading Act to restrict members of Congress from trading individual stocks while holding office.

It’s no secret that some elected officials are privy to information that impacts the economy and certain industries. Not only would this bill go a long way in restoring the public trust, it would ensure Members of Congress are focused on delivering for the American people -- not their personal investing portfolios.

Will you sign my petition saying you support legislation to ban members of Congress from buying and selling stocks while in office? The more signatures we receive, the more I know to aggressively tackle this issue.
