Herschel Walker for Senate I thought he was supposed to bring people together.

Fellow American,

Unlike President Biden, I was born in the deep South nearly 60 years ago.
Back then, Dixiecrats – conservative Democrats – as they were known then,
controlled nearly every aspect of government in Georgia and many states across
the South. These politicians were opposed to racial integration.

They were Democrats.

So when President Biden visited Atlanta last week to give a fiery speech on
election reform, I was stunned at what he said. He argued people who don't
support the Democrats' voting legislation are like former segregationists Bull
Connor and George Wallace.

In other words, anyone who disagrees with him is a racist.

On Wednesday, Democrats in the Senate – including my opponent – responded to
Biden's siren call by holding a vote, which they knew would not pass, that
would federalize our elections. As expected, it failed.

They even tried to change the Senate's filibuster rule to ram through the
legislation, which they knew would not succeed. As expected, it failed too
because they couldn't get all Democrats to agree.

Sadly, this was all a political game. President Biden used outrageous
rhetoric, and Senate Democrats pushed forward with doomed legislation, simply
to keep their base happy.

Unfortunately, that's how Washington works these days, and it's why we need to
change who we send to Washington.

If you believe that we need elected officials who will support voter ID laws
and common-sense election reforms – not the federalization of elections, then
I'm asking you to chip in $5 to my Senate campaign today.

President Biden and our Democrat opponent want the country to believe
Georgia's updated voting laws are nearly identical to ones in place during the
Jim Crow era that disenfranchised black voters.

Mr. President, that's absurd.

I don't support your federal voting legislation, and I'm not a racist.

The sad truth about Democrats today is that if they don't get the outcome
they want, they accuse Republicans of being bad actors out to destroy America.
Until we can figure out a way to put a lid on that kind of talk, our country is
not going to heal.

If you agree, please stand with me and help me change Washington.
