John,
We just got some numbers back on Greg Abbott’s statewide TV ad blitz. He’s spending over $2.3 million in total on ads — and running ads in every single Texas media market.
Together, these markets span every inch of Texas, John. So we came up with a plan to work together and make sure that we’re ready to fight back against Abbott’s spending everywhere.
We recently assigned you to sponsor Frio County, where more than 8,764 people are registered to vote, as part of our 254-County Mobilization Plan.
We now know that Greg Abbott has already spent $213,845 in the greater San Antonio media market where Frio County is located, so we’re setting a goal for you and your fellow sponsors to match his spending in your region. It’s an ambitious goal, but we can get it done together.
Will you chip in any amount right now to help us reach Texans in Frio County before Greg Abbott’s ads do? Every 50 cents you give will allow us to reach at least one voter!
⇢ Make a $25 donation to reach 50 voters in Frio County.
⇢ Make a $50 donation to reach 100 voters in Frio County.
⇢ Make a $100 donation to reach 200 voters in Frio County.
⇢ Make a $250 donation to reach 500 voters in Frio County.
The secret to winning in a state as big and diverse as Texas is to not write anyone off. No county is too small, too Republican, or too anything for us to compete for their votes.
So while Abbott drops $2.3 million (and counting) on blasting ads across the state, we’re going to do something way better: raise $2.3 million together in grassroots contributions to staff up and organize in all 254 counties.
But to reach a goal this ambitious, we need every county’s grassroots team to participate. Please, John, will you chip in as a Frio sponsor to help raise $213,845 and match Abbott’s spending in the greater San Antonio media market? Every donation will translate into on-the-ground organizing to elect Beto as our next Governor.
There are so many Texans out there who are looking for a reason to join our campaign. Thank you for considering a donation to reach the 8,764 registered voters of Frio County.
Let’s do this,
Beto for Texas
