Hi John,
As Paul’s campaign manager, it’s my job to lay out our path to victory. So I wrote this memo explaining why I know we can win this district, and the steps we’ll need to take to get the job done.
I hope you’ll take a few minutes to read the memo below, but if you’re strapped for time, we’d appreciate it if you chip in a few dollars to help us build the grassroots movement we’ll need to win.
Thank you,
Danielle Salanitri
Campaign Manager

— PA-01 Path to Victory Memo —
PA-01 is a winnable district, and Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick is uniquely vulnerable.
1. This district voted for Hillary Clinton by 2.0 points in 2016 and President Biden by 5.8 points in 2020. During the last midterm elections in 2018, the Democratic candidate came just 2.6 points shy of victory. And right now, there are over 15,000 more Democrats registered to vote in PA-01 than Republicans.
2. Fitzpatrick is one of just nine House Republicans representing a district that voted for Joe Biden in 2020. And just this election cycle, he took key votes against…
- The American Rescue Plan that provided COVID relief to Pennsylvanians.
- The For the People Act and the Freedom to Vote: John Lewis Act to increase transparency in campaign financing.
- The Women’s Health Protection Act to protect reproductive freedom.
- Holding Donald Trump accountable for the January 6th insurrection.
Paul Fermo’s unique life experiences make him the right candidate for the job.
1. Paul is a former Navy fighter pilot and small business leader who knows firsthand the struggles Southeastern Pennsylvania families are facing – from the failures of our health care system to today’s tough economic environment and more.
2. Paul and his wife Debbie are raising their three children right here in Bucks County. They’re invested in the future of this district because it’s their family’s future, too.
We’ll need to invest earlier than ever before to win this race.
1. We have highly contested Governor’s and Senate races at the top of the ticket, and GOP candidates and outside groups have already reserved over $12 million in TV ad space to influence the results of the elections. We need to put our own ads up on TV to introduce voters to Paul before our opponents do, so will you chip in to help us do things like share our message on the air?
2. We saw in 2018 and in 2020 that the more Democrats get out there and have one-on-one conversations with voters, the more we win. We have an aggressive field plan to reach as many folks as possible, but that takes early investments in campaign infrastructure. Will you chip in to help us do things like knock on doors and make phone calls all the way through Election Day?
3. There are still many unknowns – we don’t have the final lines for our district yet (though we expect PA-01 to stay roughly the same), and we don’t know how much Republicans will spend in our district to mislead voters. We need to be prepared for whatever comes our way, so will you chip in to help us build a strong campaign operation that can – and will – flip this seat blue?
Thank you for being on our team. I know if we all pitch in, we’ll get the job done and bring principled leadership to Southeastern Pennsylvania.
Danielle
