Celebrating the 49th Annual March for Life
The right to life is our most fundamental and precious gift from God, but for 49 years, the sanctity of life has been marginalized.
More than 60 million lives have been lost to abortion in the aftermath of Roe v. Wade, leaving a tremendous scar on our nation. I’m proud to stand with all of those who participated in the March for Life in Washington last week as we stand up in defense of the right to life.
Recapping President Biden's Disastrous First Year in Office
I joined fellow House Republicans on Thursday to mark the one-year anniversary since Joe Biden took the oath of office as President of the United States. Even if you were grading on a curve, by all objective reporting, President Biden would get an 'F' for failing the American people on all the challenges that are facing our country right now.

Because of President Biden's out-of-control spending and destructive economic policies, inflation has reached its highest level in 40 years. Hardworking Americans are struggling to pay for gas at the pump, with prices jumping to their highest levels since 2014.
Additionally, President Biden has caved to union bosses who are undermining in-person education and denying kids opportunities. There is absolutely no reason for students to be forced to learn virtually.
Meeting With St. Tammany Officials
I recently met with Covington Mayor Mark Johnson and Mandeville Mayor Clay Madden to discuss ongoing efforts to recover from damage caused by Hurricane Ida. We also talked about concerns from Northshore residents on the rising cost of flood insurance. I have consistently pushed FEMA to be more transparent about the agency's flawed rollout of Risk Rating 2.0, which will cause premium rates to increase for 80 percent of Louisiana policyholders. I will continue working with my colleagues in Congress to hold FEMA accountable.
