Hey there, John, it’s Tiernan, Val’s campaign manager. We’re more than halfway into January, and I wanted to give you a quick update on our campaign. I hope you’ll take a moment to read through, then pitch in to help Val flip Pennsylvania blue.

By now, you’ve probably seen that Dr. Oz — yes, that Dr. Oz — is a leading Republican candidate in this Senate race. Even though it’s been well reported that he only moved back to Pennsylvania to run for this seat and that he’s pushed sham science, he has a real shot at being the Republican nominee. We can’t afford to overlook his candidacy.

After aligning himself with some of Trump’s closest allies, he’s coming into this race with a lot of name recognition and a network of right-wing donors. He’s spent more than $4 million on television ads since jumping into the race — putting the total Republican spending on TV ads at more than $7 million so far.

If these numbers stay on pace, this could be the most expensive Senate election in U.S. history.

As campaign manager, my job is to make sure we have the resources to beat back Oz’s lies and elect Val — the real doctor in this race — to the U.S. Senate. Believe it or not, our first fundraising deadline of 2022 is right around the corner, which is why I’m reaching out.

We need to ramp up our small-dollar fundraising to stay on track. Will you chip in to help Val prioritize facts over fiction in the U.S. Senate? [[link removed]]

Pennsylvania will be a top-tier race in November. Thanks so much for being part of our growing team — we really appreciate it.
