Hello John-

Today marks the 49th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision. But, Reproductive Rights are under attack like never before. Republican held legislatures are pushing legislation in order for Roe v Wade to be reconsidered in front of the Supreme Court, undoing decades of precedence for reproductive rights.

While the majority of the court may believe that Roe v Wade should be repealed, only 30% of Americans agree with them. It's true the SCOTUS is not looking out for the majority of Americans.

If Roe v Wade is repealed, 26 states will lose access to legal abortions. It's not just women seeking abortions either. Non-binary folks and trans men will lose their access to life saving health care and reproductive care.

A person should not be denied health care, including access to abortion, because of where they live or how much money they make.

A person should not be forced to carry out a pregnancy if their own health is at stake.

A person should not be able forced to carry out in a pregnancy in the case of rape or incest.

A person should not be forced to carry out a pregnancy without their consent. Period.

Rooms full of people who do not have uteruses should not be the ones determining what happens to the bodies of those who do. And now it is up to everyone to show that we support one's right to bodily autonomy. More legislation like this from Mississippi, Texas, and other GOP held states will continue to come up and attack reproductive rights.

Sign our petition now to protect Roe v Wade and stop the assault on reproductive rights.
