49 years ago today, Roe v. Wade became the law of the land, legalizing
abortion care across the country. But the fight for reproductive freedom
did not end there.

Abortion access is still under attack — from the Hyde Amendment, which
bans health providers who facilitate abortions from receiving federal
funding, to draconian state-level laws, like Texas’ S.B. 8, which bans
abortions at 8 weeks — long before many people know they’re pregnant.

Since the passage of S.B. 8, we’ve seen similar regressive, inhumane
legislation pop up in state after state— and responding to these
nationwide attacks on reproductive justice requires immediate and
intentional action.

That is why Ayanna and our coalition to protect and codify reproductive
rights are keeping up the pressure to pass the Women’s Health Protection
Act in the Senate and send it to President Biden’s desk to be signed into
law.

The Women’s Health Protection Act would safeguard the right to abortion
care throughout the United States—a major step toward realizing true
reproductive justice.

Wade by making a $3 contribution today to show public
support for the Women’s Health Protection Act, and help us keep Ayanna in
Congress, fighting for access to abortion care for all?

Every day that we don’t sign the Women’s Health Protection Act into law,
more and more people are denied their right to essential medical care —
especially low-income, queer and trans, Black, Brown, AAPI, and Indigenous
folx.

Ayanna is working tirelessly alongside advocates and organizers in the
movement for reproductive justice to ensure every person, no matter where
they live, is guaranteed their fundamental right to abortion care.

strength of our movement and send the message that the Senate must pass
the Women’s Health Protection Act now.

Thank you for your support today,

The A-Team
