Today marks 49 years since the Supreme Court ruled in Roe v. Wade that abortion rights are the law of the land and protected under the United States Constitution.

But now, with a conservative majority and three justices appointed by Donald Trump, the Court is closer than ever to taking away that choice – which would forever change the fabric of our country, our society, and who we are.

We cannot give up on this fight – and I won’t. I promise you that as Maryland’s next Attorney General, I will do everything in my power to ensure that abortion and reproductive care remain affordable and accessible to everyone.
