Will Susan Collins ever get tired of betraying Mainers at any chance she gets?

As if her outrageous opposition to restoring voting rights this week wasn’t enough, she is still refusing to take action to protect Roe v. Wade, even after telling voters she would introduce a bill codifying the decision in law.

The Supreme Court announced the Roe v. Wade decision 49 years ago today, and we’ve been fighting to protect it ever since. States like Texas are passing some of our strictest abortion laws yet, and we must take action now to make sure Maine isn’t next.

Senator Collins claims that the WHPA goes “too far”, but that’s just another lie she’s hoping we’ll accept. Collins has already allowed anti-choice justices to take over our Supreme Court, putting our constitutional rights at risk.

Thanks to people like Senator Collins, Roe is in danger. We must codify Roe v. Wade to not only federally protect reproductive rights, but to save lives as well.
