Today marks 49 years since Roe v. Wade was decided. That’s 49 years of protecting women’s critical and constitutional health care rights.

But whether we reach a 50th hangs in the balance. In the coming months, we could witness another historic event for our country, this time at the hands of the conservative-stacked Supreme Court. We could see the end of Roe v. Wade.

We are not helpless, folks. Passing the Women’s Health Protection Act is a sure-fire way to codify women’s health care rights into law.

Please, if you believe in equitable access to health care and a woman’s constitutional right to choose, voice your support for the Women’s Health Protection Act at this critical moment. Sign my petition below:

Here in New Mexico, our state constitution and laws support a woman’s right to choose. But that’s not the case for our neighbors in Texas, where they recently passed a near-total ban on abortions.

I’m an original co-sponsor of the Women’s Health Protection Act because the state a woman lives in shouldn’t determine whether she has reproductive rights. All women should be protected at the federal level.

We’re running out of time. Will you sign my petition to call on my U.S. Senate colleagues to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act and protect reproductive rights nationwide?

Your support on this issue will make a powerful difference. Thank you.
