But we all came to this movement for our own personal reasons.

For some of us, it was anxiety about whether we’d ever be able to own a home.

For others, it was seeing our friends and family forced to move elsewhere due to the high cost of housing.

And for many of us, it was a concern for our unhoused neighbors, and a desire to see our leaders take meaningful action to end our state’s brutal housing shortage and affordability crisis.

No matter the reason you signed up, we’re glad you’re here – and we’d love to hear your YIMBY origin story!
