** Happy New Year!

Hello friends and neighbors,

Happy New Year! Let me start by staying thank you for all of the love and support that we’ve received over the last few weeks and months. We have already accomplished so much, and it’s thanks to your help and generosity that we’ve been able to to make amazing strides!

I’m excited to share what we’ve been up to, but first thing’s first! Please, if you have not yet signed my petition ([link removed]) to help get me on the ballot, take a moment to do so now. It’s crunch time and we have a goal of at least 1,500 more signatures to get us over the finish line!

Since announcing my candidacy, we've gained hundreds of followers on our social media accounts, canvassed for Tucson Fight for $15 ([link removed]) and Invest in AZ ([link removed]) , collected signatures in Green Valley ([link removed]) , and hosted our own petition signing event at Reid Park ([link removed]) . I participated in the first official Democratic primary candidate forum ([link removed]) for our district, and I spoke to a crowd in Sierra Vista for the Cochise County Democrats' Fall Fundraiser ([link removed]) .

We are surely gaining momentum and media coverage, but there is still much work to do! We have a few crucial ways that you can assist in our efforts for the community:
1. Sign the Petition! ([link removed])
2. Donate! ([link removed])
3. Volunteer Nights every Thursday at 7pm in Tucson (mailto:[email protected])
(beginning 1/27, email us if you’d like to help!)
4. Canvassing (mailto:[email protected]) (Dates/times TBA) - We will need the help of lots of people to knock on doors to collect signatures! Super important!
5. Endorsements! ([link removed]) Just like my campaign team members wrote statements of endorsement, you can also reach out to Mo ([email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) ) to provide your own statement. For this, we'd like to also have a photograph and your permission to post your endorsement publicly on social media.

Hola amigos y vecinos,

¡Feliz Año Nuevo! Déjenme empezar agradeciendo a todos por el amor y el apoyo que he recibido estas últimas semanas y los últimos meses. ¡Ya hemos logrado tanto, y es gracias a su ayuda y generosidad que hemos podido avanzar tanto!

Estoy emocionado por compartir todo lo que hemos hecho, pero antes de hacerlo, por favor, si no ha firmado mi petición para la nominación para ayudarme a aparecer en la boleta, toma un momento para hacerlo ahora mismo. ¡Es ahora un momento crucial y tenemos una meta de al menos 1,500 firmas más!
