2019's elections aren't over. Louisiana will vote in a runoff on November 16! And our 2019 victories were a big wake up call to Donald Trump, Mike Pence, and Scott Walker who we're sure to see double down on their efforts to protect manipulated maps in 2020. In just seven days, Louisianans will choose between a fair-map Democratic governor and a Trump-backed, map-manipulating Republican.

Then it's on to our 2020 states. We're so close to giving Democrats a seat at the redistricting table in so many of our top targets:

• In Texas, Democrat Eliz Markowitz is headed to a runoff and could pull off a huge state House win with the support of the NDRC (and you!). If we can flip eight more seats in 2020, we can demand fair maps in 2021! But if we can't, nearly 29 million people will be stuck with manipulated districts.
• In North Carolina, Democrats MUST flip six state House seats, or Republicans will be able to manipulate the maps even with a Democrat in the governor's office.
• In Wisconsin, Democrats need just three seats to flip the state Senate -- but Scott Walker's allies will fight tooth and nail to preserve their gerrymandered majority.
